The CU is committed to the local church in Guildford and we strongly encourage all members to prioritise being involved with a Bible teaching church in the area. Being involved with the CU is not a replacement for joining a local church because church is the primary place for discipleship and growth as a Christian. So please do find a church you can get stuck into!

Emmaus Rd is a charismatic non-denominational church in the heart of Guildford. This is an exciting time from our humble origins in the back room of a pub, we are now more than 1000 people (+ 300 kids and youth!) meeting in homes, schools and theatres throughout the region. Lots of people are exploring faith through Alpha, our youth work is buzzing, our prayer life is deepening, we have Mission Partners in 4 countries, and we’re expanding into a multi-site church. We’re passionate about helping the marginalised through our community outreach work and helping people from every walk of life learn to pray.
We meet on Sundays at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre at 10:30 and in The Founders Studio at 19:00.
Grace Church Guildford is a lively and active Christian community right in the heart of Guildford. We are an independent Baptist church, standing together for the historic Christian faith based on the Bible. Our vision is to Gather, Grow and Go with the gospel of grace for the glory of God.

We meet on Sundays from 3pm at Christ Church Guildford on Waterden Road. Our student group, Equip, meets each week to hang out, eat great food and read the Bible together. Equip is held at Grace Church (on Guildford Park Road) from 19:30-21.30pm. We’d love to meet you.

Hope Church, meets at the Royal Grammar School every Sunday at 10am, in the centre of town. We’re a diverse group who love serving our students in Guildford and beyond. We enjoy contemporary worship, relevant bible talks and a good coffee. Westborough church is a vibrant, worshipping church within the northwest area of Guildford.Westborough Church is a short walk from the university campus and close to many student homes.
Our worship style is contemporary and wholehearted, and we long to meet with God at our Sunday services and during the week at the various groups that meet at the church and in homes. Westborough Church is part of the United Reformed Church denomination.
